Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association is seeking a Digital Media Specialist who wants an exciting work atmosphere and to be a part of a team dedicated to exceptional service.

An energetic, action-oriented, creative professional, the Digital Media Specialist uses digital channels to cultivate meaningful connections and share the positive difference we make in the communities we serve. They are passionate about digital marketing, including social media, website management + SEO, paid digital advertising, email marketing, and more. They are a tech-savvy, creative storyteller who can develop high quality, valuable content to attract, inform, and engage with audiences while championing the Poudre Valley REA brand. The ideal candidate is a driven, self-motivated, team player who has a knack for embracing the ever-changing tools and trends within the digital marketing world.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategies, budgets, best practices, and measurable objectives for a range of digital and social media channels including website, intranet, email marketing, social media, and digital display boards.
• Implement a social + digital media growth strategy with a focus on member engagement and improving the member journey.
• Maintain a digital media content calendar.
• Manage the day-to-day execution of digital channels, including planning, content sourcing, creation, execution, reporting, and optimization.
• Represent the Association at community events and create live content.
• Ensure digital content + social media strategies and offerings remain current with advancements in platforms and responsive to changes in audience behavior/preferences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or related subject is required. A minimum of five years’ work experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of a degree. Google Ads certification preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience creating strategies and content for a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Tik Tok. Previous experience with website + intranet content management and email marketing preferred.
