For over 15 years, the CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) has been leading online education in New York. Notable for offering the most online bachelor???s and master???s degree options at the City University of New York, and for serving transfer students as the University system???s only undergraduate all-transfer college, CUNY SPS meets the needs of adults who wish to finish a bachelor???s degree, progress from an associate???s degree, earn a master???s degree or certificate in a specialized field, and advance in the workplace or change careers.
The School???s growth has been remarkable, with twenty-four degrees launched since 2006. Enrollment has risen by more than 30% in the last four years to over 4,000 students in the credit-bearing programs. Thousands more are enrolled in non-degree and grant-funded workplace learning programs. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Strategy Manager will be well- versed in search engine optimization, analytics as well as digital and social campaign management. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Digital Strategy Manager will also:
- Manage and maintain social media analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting for paid and organic advertising;
- Develop, present and execute new digital opportunities for social media, advertising, editorial, and the website that best target our audiences to increase enrollment and support new initiatives for the School;
- Develop and prepare reports for presentation to management and seniorleadership;
- Manage SEO strategy, create and optimize content for SEO and search, and encourage SEO best practices across the School.
- Manage the development of organic and paid social media strategies to improve engagement and awareness;
- Manage digital analytics reporting to understand content performance against business objectives and optimize content and marketing strategies;
- Lead the implementation of a marketing CRM to support in-house and agency digital advertising campaigns, reporting, and ROI;
- Provide up-to-date industry figures, trends of competitors, and target audiences to optimize digital campaigns;
- Manage new digital projects as assigned for the CUNY SPS Marketing andCommunications
Note:
- Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. - Until further notice, this is a hybrid position, eligible to work remotely and work in the office.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least six years of experience developing social and digitalstrategy
- Experience managing strategy in an educationsetting
- A deep understanding of digital marketing with the ability to identify and analyze the effectiveness of current cross channel efforts
- Demonstrated experience with SEO strategy andpractice
- Experience with marketing campaignCRMs

CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Manages electronic, online and multi-media communications, providing editorial, technical and production expertise.
-Consults with client staff to assess needs and determine design and technical specifications
-Plans communications messages, formats, and designs which meet clients' needs and have impact with the intended audience(s)
-Coordinates the efforts of internal and external professionals to implement and disseminate electronic media projects
-Creates and maintains databases, archives, and other content associated with electronic media projects
-Develops production policies and standards and adheres to communications and branding standards
-Supervises staff as needed
-Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with education and experience up to $84,946.
