Area: Advancement, Admissions, and Marketing/Communications
The Director of Communications and Marketing is a full-time 12-month position that reports to the President. This position provides key support to Admissions, Advancement, Administration, and all departments throughout the school. The Director of Communications is the primary point of contact for all school communications. He/She manages all internal and external communication. The Director of Communications works closely with all departments throughout the school and several constituents outside the school. This position requires strong communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manages the daily functions of the website; social media channels; all-client emails; school photography; video; requests from Admissions, Advancement, and Academic; the press, including reporter contacts, press releases, and all advertising.
Coordinates, organizes, and writes the weekly newsletter; print materials, including advertisements, posters, postcards, view books, articles, and annual magazine; as well as online materials, including video, social media posts, self-published press, etc.
Maintains records for website traffic, digital advertising campaigns, social media insights, print material views, and survey results.
Analyzes market research; writes, distributes, and reports on surveys as needed.
Works with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, contractors, vendors as needed.
Helps advance the strategic goals, mission, values, and vision of the school.

Treat members of the campus community with fairness, dignity, and respect - seeking a spirit of unity and harmony to achieve a common mission.
All other duties as assigned by the President.
Adequate physical ability to see and use the computer and to move quickly to cover events, taking photos, video, or statements from constituents.
This is a full-time, 12-month position. The ability to be available for some evening events and weekend supervision is required.
