MarketScale, a leader in content marketing for B2B companies, is seeking to hire a Vice President of Marketing to oversee our in-house marketing team and deliver compelling marketing and communication for MarketScale products and solutions.
The Vice President of Marketing role requires senior management proficiency and experience, marketing industry leadership with knowledge of best practices, and a combination of traditional marketing expertise to combine with today’s new marketing technologies and methodologies.

In an industry focused on ad hoc delivery of content for clients, MarketScale is innovating around technology and service delivery, which requires effective marketing across all channels to educate prospects and customers alike, while strengthening unified company marketing strategy internally.
The Vice President of Marketing will have the opportunity to clarify our brand, with the power and capacity of incredible video production, podcasting, graphic design, and technological scale – offering ‘Day One’ ability to create necessary campaigns and B2B marketing initiatives at a high volume.
Collaborate with our growing Dallas-based team, interact with customers, innovate alongside our technology partners, and deliver targeted messaging to the market. The VP of Marketing will be expected to lead efforts across such channels as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Social Media, E-Mail, Customer Events, Client Communication Tools and our own MarketScale industry publications in markets ranging from Healthcare to Industrial Automation and Robotics.
Generally, B2B media can be categorized as Paid, Owned or Earned media. MarketScale helps our customers build their own channels, helping them reach their audiences through mediums such as podcasting and live broadcast specifically, with a strong effort toward OTT in the near future.

Central to our marketing success is the belief that education is the highest form of marketing, which means we expect thought leadership content, online courses and webinars to contribute to our marketing campaigns.
The VP of Marketing will also have the opportunity to launch and maintain our growing portfolio of MarketScale podcasts and original content series focused on educating and inspiring professionals in our markets. This means the VP of Marketing must play the role of Director, Producer and promoter, ensuring these shows continue to gain a wide audience in the B2B market and drive awareness and interest in our solutions.
Vice President of Marketing Daily Responsibilities
Realtime interaction with Sales, Client Services and department leadership, ensuring daily activities and initiatives are promoted and marketed as needed
Data-driven marketing management, measuring the success of our marketing channels, the needs of our customers and prospects, and delivering segmented marketing
Marketing technology leadership and innovation, leveraging our marketing technology to deliver data-driven, automated marketing content at scale
Oversight and continuous improvement of MarketScale web properties, including SEO, inbound and chatbot
Creative use of social media, especially to targeted B2B audiences
Public facing persona, creating podcasts, blogging and speaking to evangelize our solutions in the B2B market
Creative design and collaboration, strengthening visual and brand recognition benchmarks
Owned-media approach: creating, managing and deploying growing portfolio of in-house podcast and live broadcast shows, with the MarketScale team. Example: Our Senior Director of Data and Analytics hosts a show called “Diving into Data”
People management within the marketing team and contributors across the organization
Vendor management and budget management for marketing technologies and related marketing spends, while reporting finance and performance to Executive Leadership.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, getting the most out of contributors and mentoring and growing careers over time using structured management principles and collaborating across teams
Proficiency and direct experience in managing and utilizing marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoom and more.
Next-level business writing, branding and creative instincts to guide our brand and communications forward, clarifying and optimizing messaging
10+ years’ experience in marketing and marketing leadership
Familiarity with web, SaaS and cloud-based technologies, ranging from AWS and Azure to Wordpress, understanding DNS, SSL, GDPR, SEO and related topics.
Experience public speaking in business settings
Undergraduate degree in related field
Master’s Degree or equivalent in related field
Demonstration of continuing education including certifications and industry event participation for life-long learning
