Publishers Clearing House Media is looking for a Programmatic Account Executive to be responsible for closing new business with agencies and brands. The Programmatic Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for prospecting new clients, setting up meetings, and closing new business, updating Salesforce.com regularly to provide transparency into pipeline, as well as meetings attended. The AE will be required to travel to conferences, entertain clients and potential prospects, give live presentations and be responsible for a target number of meetings per week. The AE will be given a quarterly new business sales quota, which they will be responsible to hit or exceed. The AE will work closely with their designated Account Manager to maintain and upsell current business. The AE will also work closely with Sales/Marketing to collaborate on RFPs (requests for proposals) as well as sales decks and collateral.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Forge and cultivate new business accounts
Develop annual account plans for all assigned accounts
Remain well-versed on industry movement and advertising technology as it relates to programmatic and private marketplace/programmatic guaranteed
Extensive understanding of Publishers Clearing House Media’s programmatic capabilities and programmatic partnerships
Direct the account service effort across each respective account
Ensure service levels and tactics are keeping with business and revenue goals
Daily and constant sales pipeline updates, call reports, and activity reporting in Salesforce.com
Add value, expertise and knowledge to the PCH team as well as client roster
Look to develop client relationships at the senior level
Proactively grow client business through consistent updates and quarterly business reviews
Collaboration and Consultation:
Know your client. Work collaboratively with them and their agencies to understand where there are opportunities to drive revenue across Publishers Clearing House Media
Lead your client. Constantly educate your client in the areas of programmatic evolution specific to PCH and the advertising technology industry in general. Provide a point of view and recommendation on a plan/course of action. Be a go-to source for advice and insight
Extend your client relationships. Understand the agency’s core competencies to cross sell and expand influence within the client organization
Bachelors’ Degree or higher from accredited university
3-5 years of digital sales experience with history of meeting/exceeding quotas
1-2 years of programmatic experience, having worked at either and agency trading desk, demand side platform or supply side platform or publisher direct
An understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and the ongoing evolution and innovation within digital advertising
Additionally, a good understanding of the overall digital ecosystem and how all of the technology options within the marketplace work together and provide opportunities for agencies and brands
