We are hiring a Digital Designer who will be an integral part of the creative team. The Digital Designer will design and prepare digital assets for consumer-facing marketing efforts, including product campaigns, website and email support, digital advertising, digital retail assets, digital storytelling, and photography/video support. This person will work closely with the eComm team and play an essential role in the creative look and feel of our marketing efforts through design that supports the brand.
What will I be doing?
Design and prepare graphic assets for digital, motion and occasional print projects, with focus on website, social media, email, and digital display adverstising.
Prepare redlines and ‘dev-ready’ files for release to development team(s).
Partner with internal design team in order to deliver engaging, on-brand marketing assets (digital/photo/video).
Work with internal teams (eComm, Retail, Social Media) to concept and create engaging and on-brand marketing assets to support product launches and brand campaigns.
Collaborate with agency of record (AOR) and third party vendors on consumer-facing marketing initiatives.
Work closely with Sr. Graphic Designer, Production Designer, and Project Manager to achieve on-time project delivery and efficiency.
Attend weekly internal project meetings and maintain status report tracking for all deliverables.
Partner with eComm team to support email and web development resources, as needed.
Ensure successful processes for development release and file handoff.
Assist with email and digital design best practices.
Assist with production design, as needed.
Recommend brand asset updates and usage guidelines.
Assist in post-production and editing of photos and videos.
Maintain File System management.
Collaborate with Creative team members to understand marketing strategy in service to project objectives.
Assist with marketing brand strategy and development.
What are the requirements for consideration?
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (graphic design, visual arts, marketing, etc).
3+ years experience in digital graphic design working within an in-house creative department or other creative team environment. Consumer-facing product brand and/or lifestyle brand experience preferred.
Proficient with most current version of Abode Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), CSS and HTML (Magento a plus).
Experience working across print, web, and interactive media and demonstrated portfolio of solutions.
Familiarity with and usage of project management software tools (Asana, Basecamp, Smartsheet, etc).
Understands common design software and usage requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external resources for timely project execution.
Experience leading production designers and communicating effectively with senior leadership.
Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships.
Willing and able to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Ability to make project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently and maintain flexibility.
Experience with brand strategy and development.
