The IAB Tech Lab is comprised of more than 500 leading media and advertising technology companies across the globe. IAB Tech Lab engages a global member community to develop foundational technology that enables growth and trust in the digital media ecosystem. The IAB Tech Lab educates marketers, agencies, media companies and the wider business community about the value of digital advertising to develop trustworthy supply chain, responsible use of consumer data, better consumer experience with scalable and consistent measurement of advertising performance. Working with its member companies, the IAB Tech Lab evaluates and recommends standards and practices and develops shared software resources as well as provides compliance services.
As an intern with the IAB you will have exposure to some of the most important issues facing the industry today and the thought leadership initiatives designed to solve for those issues. You will learn how our organization functions and how we manage a large amount data that allows us to serve our members. Our intern program provides weekly learning sessions developed around key topics each department is working on and an opportunity to participate in industry events hosted by the IAB. We expect you to bring a fresh approach and have input on business objectives and strategies. Networking is large part of what we do so you will be given the opportunity to meet employees throughout the organization as well as interns from other programs to exchange ideas, learning experiences and the insight you have gained into the digital economy and how it functions.
The Program Management Intern supports processes for the development of Industry technical standards and software. The role coordinates activities associated with managing industry working groups, coordinating creation and publishing of working group products and support members with standards or product related questions. Other responsibilities include:
Managing Working groups. scheduling. and organizing
Project Management of working group deliverables
Maintain calendar of releases and track progress
Coordinate resolution of support tickets submitted by customers
This role will work across multiple teams and standards. The individual will have project management skills, the ability to learn processes quickly and passion for detail.
The position begins June 10th and ends August 16th. Interns are expected to work approximately 40 hours a week and will be paid $15/hour.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Project Management of standards development activities and other Tech Lab products
Work with other Product owners to resolve product support.
Work across product, marketing, compliance, engineering and operations teams to ensure timey progress of various projects.
Develop processes for new activities
Suggest improvements for processes and mechanisms to enforce process
Update data in CRM and software project management systems like JIRA
Requirements and Qualifications:
1-4 years of Program management experience in digital advertising industry or closely related environment
Understanding of program management process
Experience or knowledge of working with CRM systems like Salesforce
Experience or knowledge of JIRA or other software project management systems
Product Management experience a plus
