The core responsibilities for the Finance Coordinator are collections, accounts receivable management, and data integrity. The role will act as a liaison with department heads and Finance to ensure collections procedures are in place, CRM financial and member data integrity. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented organized self-starter with 3-5 years of work experience to gain a deeper understanding of the digital marketing/media world with outreach to members and key departments within the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop the collection process from initial outreach to the escalation of deficient accounts to the appropriate internal owner. Coordinate communication with members by working with all department heads.
Responsible for aging reports to track collections progress, develop and present KPI reports detailing lost members, collections trends, and Year on Year analysis.
Oversee the Collections mailbox taking the lead to escalate all dues cancellation messages to the appropriate team member, follow up with actions deemed by department heads, and responding to all other requests from members including providing W9’s and new vendor set up forms.
Update contact changes requested from members.
Develop strategic automation with the Operations team to maximize process efficiencies.
Receive and apply payments in CRM in a timely manner ensuring financial integrity.
Create credit and debit memos in CRM in response to requests from department heads.
Perform bank reconciliations at month and year end ensuring all bank transactions are correctly recorded and have backup documentation.
Provide ad hoc support to Sr. Finance staff.
Requirements and qualifications:
Finance/Accounting or related degree
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Salesforce/CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Tableau, PayPal, Stripe
Strong communication and presentation skills
Data analysis experience
Detail oriented self-starter
