The Incumbent will focus on: This is a specialized role in the O&T Business Management and Governance team that focuses on Communications, Staff Engagement and Training. These three areas are all interrelated and are required by young and growing team within O&T. Overall, the role is targeted at enhancing the levels of Staff Engagement through the use of targeted communications and training. Through external communications and training, the role will also play a part in attracting and developing talent to O&T - both experienced and grad level - to support our transformation programmes and Bank 4.0 initiatives.
1. Communications & Staff Engagement
Play a key role in shaping the Bank of Singapore (BOS) O&T Divisional Communications and Digital Marketing capabilities, via Social Media platforms including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Facebook, etc
Build innovative solutions, leveraging digital strategy and technology, produce external articles/ media notes etc to create awareness and promote the BOS O&T Branding
Monitor BOS O&T Brand positioning, and deliver the right message and measures to drive improvements in awareness and attractiveness of BOS O&T to the external talent pool
Monitor trends and competitor activity in order to identity opportunities to differentiate the brand
Work closely with BOS Marketing Team and act as BOS O&T brand custodian, and ensure adherence to the bank's brand policies and guidelines
Manage the social media platforms, plan and execute the online BOS O&T social media campaigns and drive community building, both for internal BOS staffs and external followers of BOS / potential BOS O&T job candidates
Leverage qualitative and quantitative research and data to assess effectiveness of digital platform communication, suggest and execute improvement drives
Work closely with the O&T Management team and provide editorial support for content generation that aligns with overall O&T Communications and Staff Engagement activities plan
Design and plan a series of internal staffs' activities (specific to Technology staffs, specific to Operation staffs, or covering both O&T staffs). Such activities include, but not limited to - Townhalls, Village halls, Skip level meetings, Lunch with Management team, Festive events, Employee Recognition & Award presentation ceremony etc
Partner BOS Marketing team to promote EVP (Employee Value Proposition) events driven out of BOS Marketing team, to O&T staffs
Review O&T Employee Engagement Survey (EES) results, analyse, propose and follow up on executions of the action plans designed to target improvement in survey results, year on year
2. Staff Training and Grad Programme Development
Work closely with HR, Technology Competency Leads, Technology Head of Departments and Team managers to identify talent development needs and plan / execute associated staff trainings
Leverage BOS HR and OCBC Global O&T Employee Development Team's expertise, and package learning journey for staffs from various job families. Design training roadmap aligned to skills required for Bank 4.0 and core competency areas and partner HR to enable O&T staffs to achieve their re-skilling / up-skilling as planned
Initiate, drive and sustain an O&T Grad Programme to attract, train, empower and retain the next generation of the O&T workforce who will build, run and support Bank 4.0.
Act as the go to person in O&T, for anyone with queries regarding training and development plans
Produce reports and matrices for O&T Management Team, on staff training & development progress
Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience, preferably in professional/ financial services industry, with good understanding of the functions of O&T department. Experience with financial services required
Experience in web analytic tools, digital advertising, and marketing experience in digital agency would be a plus
Experienced in all major social media platforms
Good understanding of online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
Experience drawing up training plan, manage budgets and work with training providers to develop suitable contents for courses
Created and driven sustainable Grad programmes to deliver tangible value to the organization
Confident in both written and spoken communication with proven track records in presenting to large audiences
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the demands of a diverse culture
Self-motivated, self-starter, and demonstrated ability working independently and under minimum supervision
Ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines
