The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources (HR) that will be responsible for the strategic direction of the HR Department. The person in this role will provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion efforts. The position will report to the Vice President, Finance and Operations in regards to implementation of policies and procedures, safety of the workforce, recruitment and hiring high-performance employees, and labor, legislative and other human resources issues. The person in this role will function as a strategic advisor to company leadership and managers for all things people related and engage on issues of organizational design, process, and workflows in order to help teams operate more effectively.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Lead the charge to implement a new performance management process. Steer the organization to a quarterly check in/coaching regimen by educating staff on of the process and ensuring organization wide adoption.
Implement both long and short-term solutions for areas of concern highlighted by the recent employee satisfaction survey. Guide the Diversity and Inclusion Counsel to be a positive voice representing the entire organization.
Take the lead in addressing employee relations issues in a timely manner to find an appropriate solution to concerns raised.
Develop and roll out companywide training programs that address the ongoing needs of the organization. Work with individual departments on specialty training needs.
Create a company culture statement. Organize activities and develop practices to promote the culture.
Manage benefits strategy by reviewing existing plans and making recommendations for changes or additions.
Be a strategic business partner with senior management and departmental heads to ensure workload and workflow are manageable and efficient.
Use salary survey and title criteria developed by our 3rd party specialist to manage and assist in the deployment of compensation plans.
Assist in the defining core competencies for each job category and develop plan to for incremental advancement for more junior staff.
Manage leadership development through assessment of needs and coordinating solutions.
Identify high performers and develop retention programs to ensure growth and stability in the workforce.

Manage HR department
Bachelor of Arts degree program majoring in Human Resources or Human Resource Management or equivalent
10 years of experience
PHR Certification is a plus
Experience designing and implementing HR programs and policies, ideally for a company of 100-500 employees
Proven track record of building world-class HR functions in an entrepreneurial environment
Diversity and Inclusion program experience
Ability to be a strategic partner to the organization
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
