The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is looking for an inspiring individual to lead the team that is primarily responsible for developing new members, retaining existing members, and delivering revenue for dues, events, training/certification, research, as well as, strategic investments, such as support of IAB Centers of Excellence.
This is a traditional sales management position in the sense that there are revenue goals to be met. Yet it’s unique because the team is also on point for increasing member satisfaction and engagement. It’s an exciting opportunity, because the team interacts with the entire digital media and marketing ecosystem including publishers, ad-tech/mar-tech companies, and brands.
The winning candidate will have extensive understanding of the industry including strong relationships, will be classically trained in meeting revenue goals through pipeline management, can train and grow talented team members, and will work well with product groups across IAB to ensure their strategic goals are addressed in addition to their revenue goals.
Responsibilities(include but are not limited to):
Meeting revenue goals for multiple product offerings and services including but not limited to, IAB membership, Center of Excellence board seats, event sponsorships, training and certification, research sponsorships, and strategic packages which include all of the former
Shaping the strategy and driving the effort to increase membership satisfaction and engagement.
Developing Strategic Partnership packages that integrate multiple products and services.
Leading a focus on high value members which includes:
Best in breed CRM compliance
Leading weekly membership meeting with IAB senior management. team
Strategies to deliver benefits and create incremental investment
Ensuring engagement and renewal
Creating strategies and tactics to grow new membership sub segments
Develop and report to management on key performance metrics (KPIs) for member engagement, participation and I&R led engagement
Systematize intelligence gathering from members to inform product development and business strategy
Meeting with key individuals at member companies on a regular basis
Requirements and Qualifications:
7-10 years of sales management experience in digital media/marketing
10-15 years overall experience in digital media/marketing
Proven track record of meeting goals
Strong presentation skills
Excellent communicator externally and internally
