Oakcrest School is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Communications Coordinator to help us in our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part in the execution of marketing plans to reach enrollment goals and assist at events.
Ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in marketing concepts, principles and tactics. Previous experience working at a school is preferred.
Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
Collaborate with Advancement, Enrollment Management and Marketing Communications teams to coordinate marketing efforts
Have a keen awareness of the school calendar and activities, classroom projects, etc. to help market the school in a positive manner
Manage calendar and content for social media channels (Facebook (School and Alumnae), LinkedIn)
Coordinate print and digital advertising traffic and manage advertising calendar
Coordinate website updates
Assist with managing podcast channel
Assist with events as needed
Undertake individual tasks of a marketing and event plan as assigned
Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing support role
Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
Solid computer skills, including MS Office and Mac platforms, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
Knowledge of HTML and CSS desired
Podcast and video editing skills
Well-organized and detail oriented
Exceptional communication and writing skills
BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
