The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) works to empower the media and marketing industries to thrive in the digital economy. With a mission of providing perspectives on the state of the video advertising ecosystem, the Video Center of Excellence serves as the go-to for all things video, helping to educate the advertising marketplace about the growth and value of video in reaching and engaging consumers.
The IAB Video Center of Excellence is seeking a coordinator who will serve as internal point person, working with leadership and staff, managing internal and external projects and communications for the center while ensuring effective communications across IAB (including the Mobile and Data centers and IABâ€™s Tech Lab). He or she will sit in on Committee and Working Group meetings, thereby having a unique opportunity to learn about digital video content, media and advertising. This pivotal role helps to ensure the teamâ€™s success through program organization and administrative support. Â Â The ideal candidate is a self-starter, reliable and proactive with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities (include, but may not be limited to):
Day to-day coordination, planning and support of a robust calendar of video center events and meetings, synchronizing timing, logistics and CRM support for these events with other administrative and facilities teams. Specific tasks include:
Assist with event registration/check-in of attendees
Manage webinar conference software during event
Event prep (including printing badges, decks/collateral, signage) and room setup
Assist with AV needs during events such as running audience mics for Q&A
Work in tandem with the center's business operations lead to coordinate and prepare content submissions for email newsletters.
Develop and maintain an organized system for tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing center tasks and projects.
Provide marketing support such as on-site photo/video documentation, social media promotion,
Monitor committee and working group rosters and member engagement,
Proofread copy for IAB's various web materials, outbound communications and newsletters.
Excellent project management skills (experience with web based project management tools a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.com
Strong content marketing, copy editing and social media skills
Outgoing, passionate individual with a desire to learn
